A few things ... (1) Excellent design; (2) You HAVE to order the ottoman with the couch, because the couch is "notched-out" for the ottoman to fit. That is, one side of the couch is slightly angled to accommodate the ottoman; and (3) "Medium firm" is an understatement! This couch is hard, like an upholstered bench. I'm not saying that this is terrible, but it is not a cozy couch to curl up in and read a book.
