Mike To

Mike To is the founder of Objects Design Studio and designs furniture inspired by ancient Asian tradition and blends it with modern Western elements. In 2000, To won the "Hong Kong Art Award" and was also awarded the "Honorable Designer Award" in Singapore in 2009.

Mike To was born in Hong Kong, in 1963. He began his design career as a student at the First Institute of Art and Design and continued his studies in 2003 at the Hong Kong Art School. To draws inspiration from everyday city life scenarios in Hong Kong and connects these impressions with contemporary modern and traditional Chinese styles.
